My name is Manuel van Rooyen I am a professional hunter and outfitter in South Africa and I own and operate *African Pro Hunt Safaris* with the help of my trusted team and associates. I grew up in a hunting family and since childhood, I have shown an intense interest in nature.

I where very blessed to accompany my father on numerous hunting expeditions from a very early age. I grasped every opportunity to spend time in nature and to learn of the animals and their habits.

I started hunting at the age of 8 and then started hunting professionally in 2003. I was blessed with numerous opportunities to work, live and hunt in different areas of Southern Africa. I saw every opportunity as a challenge and grasped it with both hands and then established my own professional hunting company in 2004.

My safaris are only done in a fare chase, ethical fashion and vehicles are only used to assist in covering vats terrain. All hunting is done on foot and a certain degree of fitness is required.

Only areas with decent trophy animals are utilized and clients should take note that it takes a lot of hard work to bag that special one. Our camps are comfortable and clean and cater for your every need.

I have hunted with various clients from all over the world and I personally hunt with my clients but some times other professional hunters are used if group bookings are required. Only hand picked, experienced professional hunters are used when necessary.
