Hunting the greater southern kudu.
Kudu are browsers, feeding in the early morning and late afternoon and standing in the shade during the heat of the day. They’re from small family groups usually consisting of cows and young and during the mating seasons there is always a bull in attendance. Greater southern kudu bulls will normally form bachelor herds of up to 10 or more.

Safari hunting tips- the hunt of the Limpopo kudu.
The best time to hunt kudu is early morning and late evening, by walking or glassing from vantage points such as hills. Sometimes they are quite inquisitive and will give the hunter ample\opportunity for a shot. Aim at the vital organs around the shoulder area. If hit badly they can keep you tracking for days but will eventually die.
(Mpumalanga’s and Limpopo’s province) provides the hunter with excellent conditions suitable for rifle, black powder (muzzle loader) and bow hunting. We also offer budget safari packages and have fair daily rates and trophy fees.
Clients decide on the species and size they wish to hunt, and clients can use their own rifles, otherwise rifles and ammunition can be hired from us. Should a hunter be interested in hunting the big five or any other game not available on our list, special arrangements can be made prior to booking.
